I Tobago Day Tour / BuccooReef & Nylon Pool

Have a relaxing and fun day in the sister isle, Tobago.  Your domestic flight takes you across to Tobago where you are met and taken by bus on an informative and enjoyable sightseeing tour around Tobago’s historic sites with spectacular views.  Next in Pigeon Point where you board a Glass Bottom Boat to visit the Buccoo Reef for viewing the underworld through the glass, then snorkeling in the shallow reef water.  Our boat then proceeds to the Nylon Pool where you swim and relax in the shallow reef water.  Upon your return, a tasty lunch with a soft drink awaits you at Renmar’s Beach Restaurant.  After lunch, you are free to relax at Pigeon Point facilities and enjoy the tranquil setting.  We leave Pigeon Point at 4.00 p.m. for your return flight home.

II Gasparee Caves & Scotland Bay

The Chaguaramas Peninsula is a protected area rich in its natural environment and home to several offshore islands.  A guided bus tour will take you from Port of Spain along the North Western mainland to Chaguaramas where you will board a 30 foot fibre-glass boat for a 15 minute trip to Pt. Baleine, a former whaling station, on Gaspar Grande Island. After a short walk you will descend into and explore the underground caves, where stalactites and stalagmites, ingeniously carved by nature, abound. Before your return journey to the mainland we stop off for a picnic lunch, relaxation and a swim in Scotland Bay or on Monos Island.

This tour will show you the best of Caracas, visiting the city’s downtown area without getting out of the bus, passing by the best residential areas, shopping centres, historical monuments, and ending your tour after lunch with a ride on the Caracas Cable Car at Waraira Repano National Park (Avila mountain) where you will enjoy a fantastic view of the City of Caracas, as well as the coastline of Vargas state and the town of Galipan which is located in the heart of Waraira Repano National Park.

Approximately 63 km from Caracas and after crossing the Macarao National Park, you will find yourself in what appears to be the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) of Germany, located in the Cordillera de la Costa, in northern Aragua State. The first settlers from the Black Forest villages of Wyhl, Oberbergen and Edingen am Kaiserstuhl came to Venezuela in 1843 and for many years lived cut off from the rest of the country. Thus, later generations retained many of their ancestral traditions, such as language, meals, clothing, dances, etc. It wasn't until the 1940s that Spanish was introduced as the official language and the ban on marrying outside the community was abandoned. A visit to Colonia Tovar, not only offers you beautiful scenery and pleasant climate (with an annual average of 16°C), but also excellent restaurants, where you can taste delicious German cuisine.
