IPI World Wide Terms & Conditions of Registration
All prices are in Euros.
For delegates paying with credit card, please note that your card will be charged with the equivalent of the Euros you checked on your registration form.
The registration fee for the Conference does not include travel and accommodation costs.
When sending the bank transfer, please make sure all applicable bank charges are covered on your side.
Items included in the registration fee are coffee breaks, lunches and dinners for the duration of the Conference.
Cancellation of Registration
In the case of cancellation before 5 May 2013, delegates will be reimbursed the total amount of the registration fee; from 5 May to 10 May 2013 for 50 per cent of that amount. After 10 May 2013, IPI will not issue a refund, except in certain exceptional circumstances such as bereavement, illness or severe accident.
The reasons for cancellation must be supported by verifiable documentation.
All notices of cancellations must be made by delegates in writing, by letter, email or fax, and sent to:

The International Press Institute shall assume no responsibility whatsoever if the event is altered, cancelled or postponed arising from any unforeseen circumstances beyond its control. Unforeseen circumstances include, but are not limited to, war or the apparent act of war; terrorism or the apparent act of terrorism; natural disasters; government restrictions and/or regulations; suspension, cancellation and/or restriction of transportation facilities/means of transportation; civil disorder; or any other emergency.
In all circumstances, the International Press Institute’s liability shall be limited solely to providing a refund or part-refund of the registration fee in keeping with these terms and conditions.
Data Liability
Any personal details provided by delegates during the registration process shall be used solely for the purposes of this Conference and the International Press Institute undertakes not to provide personal details to any other organisation without first obtaining your express permission.
Speakers & Agenda
The International Press Institute reserves the right to alter or modify the list of advertised speakers and/or agenda topics, if felt necessary.
Governing Law
Any legal dispute arising out of this registration shall be governed exclusively by the substantive law of the Republic of Austria excluding any conflict law provisions. This shall also apply to the legal consequences of any after-effects of this registration for the Conference. Lawsuits hereunder may only be brought with the court of competent jurisdiction covering IPI Headquarters in A-1010 Vienna, Spiegelgasse 2/29.
