"We're very pleased to be offering this workshop, together with SABEW, to business and financial reporters, not only from East Asia, but from around the world. The importance of financial reporting was highlighted during the latest economic crisis and raised several important questions: Did the media get the story right? Did it fail in its critical role to examine the issue from all sides? Do the media exacerbate financial crises? We hope this workshop will contribute toward improving the quality of financial reporting worldwide."
Alison Bethel McKenzie, IPI Director and a former deputy business editor at The Boston Globe
